David and Helen Tuddenham

David and Helen have been involved with Kyarumba Joint Christian Orphanage Nursery and Primary School project for over 2 years, and lead the work to find support and donors for the school outside of Uganda. They have been married for nearly 25 years, have two teenage sons Jamie and Daniel, and are based in the South East of England. The whole family are actively involved in their local church in a number of ways, through taking part in services, music ministry, children’s work and women’s ministry.

David runs an international engineering company and enjoys watching Formula 1 and Brighton and Hoves Albion Football club in his spare time! Helen runs her own coaching and training business. She is a former trustee of Friends of Kagando, close to Kyarumba, and still has links there, visiting the area in 2019. She is also a football fan (but Manchester United!), is a regular runner and plays cricket for a local women’s team. She is a keen reader and a member of two book clubs.

Over the past years that David and Helen have been involved with the school projects, they have been greatly encouraged to see how the initial school building plans have developed into a thriving School with very strong links with the local community and excellent academic achievements.
